Here’s what helps:

• Native or near-native Portuguese – specifically European Portuguese, as that’s the variety we currently focus on.
• A good level of English – the platform, materials and communication are in English.
• Passion for teaching – and helping others communicate better.
• A stable internet connection and quiet space – no Wi-Fi drama mid-class.
• Basic tech skills – if you can use online platforms, you’re good to go.
• Teaching experience – great if you have it, but not a dealbreaker.

At the moment, we’re only looking for tutors who teach European Portuguese.

Our platform focuses on helping professionals learn the variety of Portuguese used in Europe, so we’re specifically seeking tutors who speak and teach Portuguese from Portugal.

Since European Portuguese is part of our new language marketplace, we’re still growing the number of students. That means demand is increasing steadily, and joining now gives you the chance to grow with us from the very beginning.

You can open your availability and pick up bookings with just a 15-minute lead time, so it’s easy to adapt teaching to your day.

And one more thing: we only bring new tutors on board when we’re confident there will be classes for them. Your teaching journey matters to us, and we want to make sure you succeed as our European Portuguese community expands.

Feel free to submit your application throughout the year; however, our main hiring periods take place from February to May and September to November.
